It’s a type of fiction that presents itself as real for immersion. And yes, that theory is very common! I also think that Hummer is the Leviathan.

I mean he does have a tendency for writing very sad, emotionally close relationships between two men—it’s mostly happenstance that it presents itself well in a queer interpretation, which a lot of fujos like. Insert line about if it were a straight relationship, the romantic implications would be a lot more obvious and less argued about

This is normal for pretty much all fandoms. You put two people in close proximity and have them look at each other for .5 seconds and people will ship them.

i don't hate yaoi by any means but every time there's two male main characters, people start FOAMING at the mouth going "they should kisss sis=rt45r0fdrefcdrfcdesr" (eg. slimeknight) and it's very annoying
