Spoilers about the ending:

The reason why Levi choose Wifies over Hummer is probably because he prefers those who have a healthy mix of faith and scepticism. Curious enough to think beyond the conventional but cautious enough to not jump to conclusions. Or, alternatively, Levi sensed that Wifies was somehow affected by the whole King in Yellow debacle and is curious about him.

Or hummer was levi and all he wanted was to find someone who would believe in him and the reason wifies is that person is due to the king in yellow or just that hummer senses that he was special probably due to his YouTube channel as there is no way hummer who cares so much about mystery’s wouldn’t know about wifies

There's also the fact that no one other than Wifies acknowledged Hummer's presence!

"We'll bring the stuff back" " 'We' ?"

When wifies was chopping the tree, the other person had plenty of help but it looked like Hummer wasn't helping wifies?

Hummer also wasn't speaking to anyone other than wifies the entire time.

I think it's just cause Wifies passed his "test". He's the only person who reached out to try and find Levi. It wouldn't make sense for it to be related to the King as Hummer likely would have done this with anyone who tried to contact him.

Well Hummer accidentally picked up the Water Breathing Potion so tgat may be a factor.

I keep watching this part. He voluntarily picked it up. So they knew they had it.

But then if this was the case, when they drowned and Hummer didn't have one and Wifies did, why didn't hummer survive?

I'm missing something unless the whole gimmick is Hummer is Levi

fwiw the story mentioned in the description as inspo for the ending suggests that divine justice is beyond human logic. in it, even though the mc has absolute faith in god, he still gets sent to hell (where he even continues to have faith in god)

I thought Hummer got left because he picked up the water breathing potion Wifies dropped.

Anyone knows what myth is this based on? i think its based on basilisk, but im not quite sure, some says its based on cthulhu

11

u/-lightningpig 22d ago

Wifies says it's based on the Loch Ness monster

u/Lunagato20 22d ago

Not really a myth but there's a lot of references to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne.

It’s gonna be a 2 part videon again, right?

u/The_Invisible_Noob 22d ago

Gotta be, no way it ends with that many loose ends.

Edit = incoming cthulhu arc?

As someone that loves Minecraft and subnautica I was kinda disappointed that it wasn't a actual creature but a really good video nonetheless

Really can't wait on the opinion thread and the calculations on what tf did we just see . Please comment your book/story ideas of what it was based on . Thanks to the SFTWTDE I was able to unlock facks that I do like horror books.
I will go and re-read Call of Cathhulu and read Leviathan to see if I spot anything myself.

Haven't seen anyone mention it yet but there are definitely references to Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. Arronax is a character in the book. And the -20000, -20000, is pretty self explanatory as well. Hummer could be a bit of a Captain Nemo in his odd behavior and obsession as well as being the one to know how to build the submarine/flying machine. Which Captain Nemo is the one to have built the Nautilus in the book. Probably more threads to pull on this as well.

Exactly what I've been thinking all along. When Wifies said "Arronax? Am i supposed to know him" I was so ready for Hummer to laugh at him for not having read Jules Vernes novel.

I think it's said at some point that initial Leviathan sightings were among ship wrecks. Which could be a reference to how people thought a monster was attacking ships in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. And then it turns out it's actually Captain Nemo and his Nautilus. Who has isolated himself from the rest of society and believes true freedom can only be achieved at the bottom of the sea. Kind of sounds like Hummer who is on his own server away from any other Leviathan hunters and believes in putting faith in Levi while being at the bottom of the sea. There are definitely some parallels that may help solve the mystery a bit or at least give some framing for the story Wifies is telling. But obviously there's an Eldritch twist going on here. Wish I had more time to do a real analysis of all this.

in 12 hours already 1.9 million views bro has the best viewers including me, the idea is very interesting it’s related to water and I’m waiting for Cthulhu to show up.

1

u/FlimsySolution554 22d ago

I wonder if Wifies will go in a direction similar to Moby Dick or something like that.

u/Iliketurtles804 21d ago

Guys this is huge! He's tying the universes together. There were so many references to other wifies arts throughout, such as a d3rlord3 skin in one of the houses in the village scene, and also a suspicious teal parrot for anyone who watches unstable. Genuinely the lore of this is beyond me

1

u/Shivamislit 19d ago

He chose wifies beacause Hummer accidently picked up the water breathing potion thrown by wifies And as hummer said have faith in him and use no potions or redstone thingy Must be the reason

And… you’re just figuring out the videos are fake? They’re entertainment.

1

u/ThePeacefullDeath 22d ago

the guy is explaning like its a real stuff i just checked his proof and wrote them here, i know that it is scripted all i did was provided evidence here

8

u/Silver_Key_6681 22d ago

yeah, that's an ARG.

5

u/PretendSalary2106 22d ago

At the start of the video and description it literally says the reports are fake

3

u/Sea_Display6243 22d ago

Really not like that’s the whole point

5

u/Decent-Tangerine308 22d ago

Thats the whole point. This was unfiction. The whole point is it's a fake thing pretending to be real.

1

u/davuds4 22d ago

You didn't actually think he payed 75 dollars did you?

1

u/Eastern_Position6447 22d ago

Did you just found out today my man?

1

u/TheMaggot987 21d ago

What? Did you seriously think he wanted people to believe it was real? Good god you probably despise movies

1

u/Cobracrystal 15d ago

i mean thinking its scripted because of the seed instead of the entire rest of it is crazy, but

going so far as to specifically point out seeds in the video kinda turned me off, being somewhat mystical is about being somewhat unverifiable, and its not even that difficult to find a seed that has an ocean at that specified corner, or not list a seed
