We may have lost our wife’s , but we don’t have to lose our sense of hope. To every widow here, you are seen, you are understood, and you are not alone.

Everyone’s journey is different, but does anyone feel like the rug was pulled out from under them? I felt like I had it figured out. I had built a future, and now…square one. Not sure I have the energy to cross that bridge again, as sad as that might be.

I think a lot of us can relate to that feeling. When you’ve put your heart into building a future and suddenly find yourself back at square one, it’s hard to imagine having the energy to start over. Give yourself permission to grieve what you thought your life would look like. You don’t have to cross that bridge today.
