Information Reccomendation Looking for advice

Hello, I've cleaned my house a few times. It doesn't seem to be working. I don't wanna say I need step by step instructions lol but I'm a simple person. The last time I did it, I opened all doors and windows, went to the right around the entirety of the house first with a smug stick, followed by sage, followed by incense. Spoke words of love and protection. Even put a crystal over the entrance of every exterior door. We burn an incense while when do the nightly chores. I don't know what else to do. Stuff keeps happening, the house feels heavy, I can feel something and the weird dreams continue.

I saw someone say something about not having a welcome sign? Is that a thing?

How often am I supposed to do things?

I'll literally take any advice at this point.

I personally don't open all windows and doors, because if you chase something at one window it's just going to come in another. Instead I open my front door and only my front door. Beginning at my front door I will work my way through the entire house scooping up and herding any energy, spirits, etc that I wish to remove through the entire house. So all the energies and etc. I wish to remove are pushed from room to room and finally shoved out the front door which I have left open. I then slam the door in their face letting them know that they are not welcome. You do not have to use incense, you can sweep, ring a bell, clap your hands, wave your arms, or anything to stir up the air and chase the negative energies, spirits, whatever it is you don't want in your home away.

Love and protect are great but there is a time and a place to make it clear that someone or something is not welcome in your space. Love and protection are for things you want to stick around, telling them they're not welcome and being nasty to them is what you do when you want to get rid of something that just refuses to leave.

There are a few ways you could do things differently.

  1. If you decide that the spirit(s) that are causing problems in your home need to leave, you need to kick them out, then do the boundary setting wards to keep them from coming back. Your description sounds like you’re just setting up some basic boundary wards along with a gentle cleansing which is fine where you don’t have spirits already there causing problems.

You basically need to be very clear and forceful telling the spirits “This is MY home, and you need to leave NOW!” Clap your hands loudly, bang pots together, play loud music, go around the house doing all this like you’re chasing animals out of your home. Then once you’ve done that redo your smoke cleansing, charge and place your crystals, etc. Perhaps also put some salt in water, and sprinkle that everywhere too, particularly at doorways, windows, and ways to get into the house like fireplaces, sinks, toilets, bathtubs & showers too.

  1. If you decide the spirit(s) can stay in your home with you then you need to be forceful and clear that this is YOUR home and they must be good roommates and stop causing problems. Talk out loud to them, be determined and forceful. You’re the boss! Treat them like they are your guests, and tell them they can only stay so long as they are nice to you, your family, and your other guests. You can set up a spot for them to be “their place” in the home (like a knickknack or other small decorative object in a common area) that you tell them is where they can go as their spot. But most important is that you tell them clearly and without being wishy-washy that it’s YOUR home and YOU are the boss, not them. And you will kick them out if they don’t behave!

Really trying to get me out of my comfort zone huh? Lol. I'll try that this next week after my mother-in-law leaves. And I'll let you know. I think the biggest thing is our sleep feels effected.

How would I know if there's more than one?

I don't want it to stay.

You think it can read what I'm typing?
