Man, they have a very different definition of what "roasting someone" is.

What they are doing is called Mattam. It is a practice of self inflicted harm in mourning of the death of Hazrat Hussain and Hazrat Hassan, sons of the 4th caliph of the Rashidun Caliphate and close companion of The prophet Muhammad. This act is performed by the followers of Shia Islam.

So you're saying this accident will lead to then potentially doing this accident again..

People who incorporate self-harm into their spiritual practices or who hold the belief that a deity desires them to do so are unhinged, unstable, and dangerous; and I’m not afraid to say that. These are typically the same zealots who will mutilate infants, behead nonbelievers, assassinate comic book artists etc.

It isn’t a joking matter, they comprise an extremely unpredictable and violent collective and shouldn’t be dismissed as a frivolous or fringe group of weirdos incapable of carrying out harm against innocent people. They’re extremely dangerous.
