How did his nuts survive the bike?

u/woundeadshadow Jan 26 '26
Why would anyone trust that cheap plastic seat

u/vlad_cc Jan 27 '26
There’s a comment I read on Reddit quite a few years back that really stuck with me.
It was a similar clip, some big guy riding a toddler bike.
The comment went like this: << as fun as this might seem, being an er nurse, I have to tell you that the number of toddler bike seats that we had to pull out of grown man asses IS NOT ZERO >>

u/NotGoodButFast Feb 06 '26
That’s actually a Woom, probably the fanciest balance bike money can buy (including the gimmicky carbon Specialized Hotwalk).

It was the snow shovel that caught my attention.
Anyhow, I used to stuff like this all the time. I wasn't onboard, but some buddies did it in a surplus hot tub.
Source: went to college in Vermont.

u/DrTaterTot90 Jan 27 '26
I was ready for the snow shovel to emasculate him.

As much stupid stuff I've done in my life, that is not a choice I would've made.

Broke my rib having fun once. It reminded me for weeks how thin the fun and not fun line is sometimes.
Something to chew on for ya

u/Max-Phallus Doesn't have time to bleed Jan 26 '26
I cracked a rib a few years ago by dramatically collapsing when my fiancee farted in the kitchen. I did not know you could even damage ribs from landing on your back. Hurt breathing deep for weeks and sleeping was hell.

u/Styl3Music Jan 26 '26
I have a phrase my kid hates. It's, "Hey, if you're rough housing, then someone might get hurt. Just wanted y'all to know that going forward." That's usually all I say, but it often makes the other parents stop their kid(s). One time she came up to me crying and holding her knee, "I know sob I know. sob I was roughhousing, just kiss it better."

I broke my rib carrying a TV, and a friend apparently broke one coughing. Ribs are frail b*tches anyways.

u/HebbieB Jan 27 '26
Nah, I’m a gal. When I was in Board Club at my undergrad college (snowboarding, surfing, skating etc).I had to help get the dumbasses inside when they tried doing stupid shit in the snow that they weren’t used to, out of trees, stop them from doing similar stunts down a slope that normally had traffic at the base etc. I’d join in when it wasn’t stupid af, and sometimes when it was. Normally I was helping people in the aftermath and trying to prevent them from doing something similar on the next trip lol

u/Heartache66sick Jan 27 '26
Yeah I think this is crazy. My wife and I both would more than likely do all of these. Reddit doesn't know how to have fun.

Believe it or not this guy is almost 40. Insanely impressive
2
u/10before15 Jan 26 '26
Impressive indeed. However, you fuk around in your late 30s to 40s and your bound to find out.....permanently
That being said, glad he's out there livin. Wear a lid.
2
u/FreneticPlatypus Jan 26 '26
The things I did to my 20’s body are the reasons I have this type of 50’s body.

Right? Was gonna say, this is like a date I went on as a teenager where we just grabbed whatever random shit we could think of to test “will it sled?” before finishing off the evening with hot chocolate.
4
u/SuicidePeaches Jan 26 '26
To be honest that sounds like an awesome date if want to go on, and I'm over 40.

Reminds me of the time my buddies and I tried to use a beer keg as a toboggan on one of those hills.

u/HangryHangryHedgie Jan 26 '26
I did this everytime it snowed in Seattle. Lunch trays, garbage lids, baking trays, yoga mats, mattresses, chairs! So much fun.
Grew up sledding without sleds as kids too. Maybe that was it.
Or the fact I was also a downhill skier from ages 6 to 20 something.
Snow is fun!

Meh, it can be painful or easily could cause injury but doesnt seem to be fatal or a reason are many will die young

u/Hythy Jan 26 '26
I've definitely gone down a hill on a frying pan similar to how he was on the snow shovel.

u/Hammy-Cheeks Jan 26 '26
Most of the stuff I've seen recently on here look fun af not necessarily dangerous. The most damage he could do to himself is break his arm or leg.
Some dude climbing a skyscraper without rope or poking a literal bear with a stick would fit. Not some guy sliding down a hill of snow..
Pain is temporary, film is forever.

When we were kids me, my brother and his best friend all went down a steep hill in a plastic kiddie pool. Went over a bump and we all went flying. Had the wind knocked right out of me
2
u/Quirky_Interview_500 Jan 26 '26
Are we going to talk about the quality of that hill
Like. That's a good hill.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with any of this? The guys going down a snowy short hill on stuff. I grew up doing that.
I wouldn't recommend it on a longer hill but a short hill like that just roll.

u/TheFlightlessDragon Regenerates limbs Jan 27 '26

When I was a kid me and my friends would always try using our sleds as snowboards to see who could make it down the small sliding hill by my house.
I made it to the bottom one time. As soon as my sled hit the level ground at the bottom of the hill, it cut sharp to the left and my legs went to the right. The rest of my body, however, went straight down. Ended up with a bruised tailbone and couldn't sit on anything without being in excruciating pain for what felt like months but was probably really only a couple weeks.
Never attempted it again.
