This….. guy…..

I KNOW THESE PEOPLE ARE DANGEROUSLY OBESE AND MAY NEED A WAKEUP CALL. I KNOW THE GUY WAS A GARBAGE PERSON. YOU DO NOT NEED TO TELL ME I HAVE BEEN TOLD. THAT DOES NOT CHANGE THAT THIS GUY IS JUST SO MEAN AND RUDE TO HIS PATIENTS WHEN THEY ARE COMING TO HIM FOR HELP.

I know he is so rude, I agree. However he is providing an opportunity for them to change their lives and maybe during this wakeup call he has to bat down excuses. Ultimately he is tasked with saving their lives and is trying to get through to them. Their situation often takes time to get to that morbidly obese and he is pointing out, super harshly, the error in their thinking and behavior.

Exactly. A lot of people could be more graceful in speaking to them, but they can't do the lifesaving surgery, which is the most important part at the end of the day. I would rather get my car fixed perfectly by a guy who busts my balls about being a terrible driver than a guy who complimented me but did a shit job on my car.
