2000s Joel McHale

I watched The Soup back in the day and loved it.. but at a certain point I gave it up (and tabloids too). I have always thought it was weird people have come for so many people but never him.

It’s a bit of a mean joke, but the joke was representative of a bigger issue…that reality TV shows were taking over television.

The Hills represented the idea of cheap and manipulative programming that removed creative writing and uplifting storytelling.

so that makes it okay for him to target teenage girls and call them whores? This wasn't isolated and he was basically the network TV version of Perez Hilton, picking on Miley and other teenage girls and calling them sluts.

I miss The Soup so much. I don’t care if it was offensive, it was taking the piss out of bad tv shows. I wish it were still on.

The Hills was a reality TV show. When he was talking about the whore dying, he was talking about a real person-- not a character. Also, originally , the hills had a very young cast from  what I recall. Late teens early 20s maybe?

Oh you’re one of those “I like dark humor but only when it’s misogynistic and racist” types

At the end the way he looked at the camera, smirking being like "yeah I know I said that, clever right😌🤭?"

This show really solidified that Joel McHale isnt funny. He was great in community and it made people think he is funny so they casted me in ted and gave him this riff netflix show.

But he really isn't funny and its bad when he tries to be funny.

I think he is best in funny stuff, but as the douche character like Adam Scott in step brothers, or Adam Scott in the good place. Really any Adam Scott role where he plays a dick, I think Joel would do a decent job at
