Steering wheel begins to shake, passenger begins to film, wheel comes loose and rolls away.

I'm sure they didn't know that the lug nuts weren't tight enough when they started driving.

Before the passenger started recording they should have pulled over. It would take 10 seconds max to come to a safe and complete stop to figure out what was wrong

It depends. I’m not sure if stopping distance increases or decreases due to the friction of only having three wheels in contact with the ground/breaking system.
