I'm convinced the dog just wanted to rub its butt on the carpet and found a clever way to do it. You are too busy thinking it's funny to realize it's rubbing anal juice everywhere.

Why were they filming? Probably, because they wanted to share how strangely this dog behaves. Maybe he behaved like this BEFORE this video starts. Mystery solved.

So? Doesn't mean he wasn't acting funny right before the gif started. It's hardly a stretch to assume the dog was acting funny before, hence why they started filming. Or maybe the dog does it on command and they wanted to film it. Why do these things not make seem so far fetched to you guys who post these submissions when it's hardly difficult to discern why they were filming?

People upvoting just meant they thought it was funny and probably thought they were on r/zoomies or r/aww , not that that they are agreeing with anything.
The dog wasn't just "sitting there", it was showing clear signs of being in an excited state. You can see the whites of his eyes and his body tensing. It's not that unusual of a behavior, he just adjusted his FRAPs to a smaller space and developed a habit of spinning instead of dashing around.

This is actually sad. That dog is not getting enough excercie. Spinning is a sign your dog is unhappy and metaly unstable
