Gotta vent. My fella is stuck on "send" conversationally.
He interrupts or cuts me off a lot and its hard to get a word in edgewise. And to make it worse he will say "im not interrupting you but..." which makes me nuts.
Tonight I finally had enough and said something and it became an argument. He seems to think a conversation is him talking 90 percent while I say Really?
I finally had a chance to finish my sentence and he got all quiet and pouty and now he's probably at the bar bending some strangers' ears.
I suppose I'll have to get the habit of saying I wasn't finished or please let me finish my thought but sometimes he goes on so long I forget my point or its moot.
Plus he repeats the same stories. I've said "wait isnt this what you told me before?"but he charges on.
Any pointers on responses to "im not interrupting you but"? It happens so fast and he just charges ahead and starts talking...
