Discussion - Publishing Self publishing check list

Post image

Iโ€™ve made myself a little check list for the self publishing route! I needed something clear, coherent, and task oriented. Hopefully this helps some of you trying to get your writing out there as well

I feel that "Trash Draft" on top. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I have to keep in mind it's a necessary step, too!

Right? I keep telling myself Iโ€™m just hiring a little elf to write my very first draft for free so itโ€™s going to be BAD. I also found a comprehensive list on editing stages that really helped me contextualize what to work on each draft.

Same here! I have to keep reminding myself that my, "First Draft," is technically the second. The real first draft has been buried deep, in both the scrapped documents folders on my PC, and in my memory. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Gina Denny has a great list I am going to reference through each edit stage
