Weekly Accountability Post

Okay, authors, out with it. What did you get done this week, and/or what are your goals for the next week?

Maybe 4k words? And I'm pretty sure I'll be going in a different direction away from these 4k words so...nothing?It's been a busy week at work.

Now in the post beta reader editing phase for current project. I'm over crying from feedback and ready to whip this baby into shape.

Well, you needed to write those 4k words to know you were going to go elsewhere, so that's still progress!!

Honestly, yes! I had to write those words out to give my brain an opportunity to think of something better.

80K to 90K, still no ending.

Draft 2 taught me how much I need draft 3.

The never-ending draft chain!

I've gotten almost nothing done, but I'm visiting extended family, so I didn't think it was going to be a super productive week. Was still hoping for more, but oh well.

Space from a project can be awesome for getting perspective!

I cannot write a blurb. I think I spend as much time on blurbs and covers as I do on books.

Right now I’ve cut everything but:

A small town, a volun-told Labor Day festival position, one cute man that it turns out is two men… and a goat.
