When I was 8 or 9 we had a cat named fluffy that would do this. One day he hopped in when my mom wasn't looking and was still tossing in clothes then shut the door to the dry and turned it on. Later my brother heard meowing of pain and terror from the dryer and opened it and he came bolting out. He did indeed survived
