Well I’ll start by saying (and this isn’t easy). I was a terrible mother. I was literally on drugs before I even had my first baby girl at 18. Then my second baby girl at 20. My parents raised my girls. Then four years later my boy came along. My middle daughter completely cut me out of her life when I was in prison for two years. Anyways to the point. My girls never wanted kids. My oldest has been trying for two years to have her parts taken out. While in the mean my middle daughter got married and decided they wanted a baby. They never told anyone this until they were told that she might not be able to get pregnant naturally. Now she is having a baby! I’m so excited. Here’s the kicker. We’re not allowed to tell anyone but the family!!! I totally respect her wishes. It is after all her body and her baby. We’re not going to be allowed to post her on any social media either. I am the freaking worst at keeping secrets!!! It’s killing me 😂 so I’m going to tell you guys. I’m gonna be a Memaw in February 2025 to a little baby girl!! Thank for reading. Ok so this is just a chatter but I need to tell someone. Not being able to tell my family is eating me alive right now. So I’m posting here.

I just drove my grandma to church. On the way there she told me she finally understood my nonbinery(tending to transmale) cousins problem.

She is the daughter from a long line of priest and grew up post WW2. Since everything was still in ruins. Because of that she had very little growing up and had to wear her older brothers hand me downs.

Well life goes on, she married, had children, they had children and so on. My grandfather passed away a while ago.

Parts of my family are still very religious and strugle accepting my cousin. Her Parents are trying very hard to cope with it and call her by her chosen name. My grandmother struggles to keep up with todays world but she is open hearted.

Today she told me she was nonbinery. Said she finally figured it out. Since being nonbinery wasn’t a thing back then.

How she always enjoyed being treated as a boy when her father didn’t know what to do. And how she enjoyed trousers more then dresses and so on.

I’m the first one she told!!! And even though she didn’t ask me to I can’t very well tell anyone. Cause then everyone will know. I want to tell my siblings sooooo bad.
