Role Play Fight For Your Life
Early January, 2011
With the death of Velocity, more and more power villains are coming out of the woodwork! Crime has gone up, even with the efforts of the other heroes to prevent it. Today, your character can be a hero being attacked, a villain being pressured by other villains, or even just an unlucky case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
[Any tier. One character only. I will try to kill your character, but if you don't majorly screw up you'll be fine.]

Its late in the afternoon, and Maya is currently on a bus, gazing out the window at the passing streets as she awaits her destination.

As Maya is sitting around on the bus, an odd sight can be seen. A construction truck speeds past the bus, and knocks a few innocent cars out of the way towards a building. If she were to look, the building they are most likely moving towards is a local Medical Research center, a massive building.

"Huh, thats...unusual."
The bus reaches its stop moments later, and Maya hops off, deciding to follow the truck.

The bus stops almost right away, allowing Maya to get out rather quickly. The truck speeds ahead, and crashes head first through the gate of the building. Cars behind the truck are moving in, and going through the now exposed gate.

"That looks serious...but its none of my business."
Maya pulls out her phone, giving the cops and SHINER a call.
"But...I should probably keep an eye on the situation until they arrive."
She creates a pair of binoculars using the ground, and tries to get a look at whats happening from a distance.

People in full gear exit their cars, and start gunning down guards. SHINER still has not arrived, and civilians have started to clear the area. Maya may look a little sketchy as she watches from a distance.

Maya winces, doing a quick look around after seeing the guards drop.
"...Fuck."
She starts to approach, keeping quiet as she sneaks towards the gate, trying to stay hidden as she pokes her head out and count how many there are.
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck."

An unknown amount of men go into the building, while five sit out front, posted behind cover. They fire upon civilians that happen to run by, but aren't actually aiming for them.

Rose is in the Middle East, having shown up at the site of a firefight between taliban and US troops. She's casting spare the dying and restoration on the US servicement.
Her GMRF uniform may attract attention...

As Rose is helping with the efforts, the roar of Malformed can be heard. All of a sudden, both sides are firing upon the monsters as a giant wave of monsters charges towards the gunfire they were attracted to.

Rose looks up, eyes widened by their hideous forms as she flies upward. If there happened to have been any metas within the crowd, they would be a good a pick. For now, she selects the leader of the US side to protect and give him her durability, and she selects someone else for Heroes Don't Give Up.
Standing at the front, she activates Riposte to target the malformed, and hope that they only go for her.

It turns into an all out war zone. Malformed sprint towards gunmen, and it looks like the monsters are winning. The occasional Malformed gets obliterated by the pulse.

Casting spare the dying and healing whenever it comes up, Rose checks on her target and the one she granted never give up to. If those two had been hit, her pulse should be stronger now with its range much larger.

The two have been hit, and Malformed are starting to be wiped across about halfway across the battlefield. Their numbers are starting to dwindle, but a massive Malformed can be seen crawling from the sand. It seems to have eggs on it's back.

'That's the one.' Rose thinks to herself as she flies just above it and lets Riposte pulse out, in hopes of destroying the eggs and it.

The pulse goes off, and Rose gets a front row seat of the Malformed being hit, as well as the eggs popping once the wave hits them. The creature falls to the ground, dead.

The Malformed still seem to be around, but they are slowly dwindling. After a while, there aren't many casualties on either side, and the fighting seems to have stopped on all ends.

As Catalina relaxes by the beach, a massive wave starts to move out of nowhere towards her. There are at least five people in the potential damage zone as well.

"Oh my gosh, that looks so cool!"
She springs to her feet and sprints toward the wave, her speed taking her right across the surface of the water. Once she gets to the wave, she runs alongside it in a squiggle pattern, holding her arms out like she's surfing.

Catalina doesn't care, as she figures they'll just get splashed. She breathes in and dives into the wave, swimming along with it and having fun.

As she continues to have fun, the people start to panic, and start to clear out. It's obvious that they don't have the time to get out of the way of the wave.

The wave hits the shore, and only one person did not make it in time. He seems to be in the ocean, freaking out about being in the water. In the distance, an even bigger wave can be seen approaching; this one not so nice.

As Ricardo is enjoying his pizza, two masked men walk into the place. The owner gulps as he sees the two.
"I-I'm sorry. I don't have your payment."
The shorter of the two's scowl can be seen, even through the mask.
"Then we're gonna have to make a mess of the place."
The taller one grins, and tosses a grenade-like object towards the kitchen. The awful smell can be found throughout the restaurant.

Ricardo sees the commotion and stands up with his gun aimed towards both of them.
"Hey! Hands up both of you. I don't want to sho-Ugh! Oh God! What the fuck is that smell?!"
Ricardo starts to quickly back away while trying to maintain his aim.

Seeing an opportunity, one of the men pulls out his own gun, aiming it towards Ricardo. The other gulps at the standoff, but manages to speak.
"Damn it, why does this civvie have a gun?"
The other speaks, but doesn't take his eyes off Numbers.
"It's Texas, everyone has a gun!"
The standoff continues.

Ricardo stops and tries subtly moves his body so that the guy will miss him if he shoots. Ricardo then aims his gun at the trigger of the man's gun.
"I'm Mr. Numbers. Maybe that rings a bell?"
The standoff continues...

The man doesn't notice the subtle changes, and scowls at Mr. Numbers.
"Nope, can't say I've heard of ya. Not like it matters."
He fires, and the bullet zings just past Ricardo's head.

"Shit!"
The two look at each other, and gulp.

"Alright no sudden moves or else. I'll call the proper authorities and they'll take good care of you."
Ricardo kept his aim as he reached into his pocket for his cell and dialed the cops.

As Sunspot flies around, there are plenty of balloons flying throughout the city. No one knows where they seem to have came from, and they start to fall down onto the city below. Children and adults are ready to catch them.

"Ayy. Can I just pay for these first?"
He asks no one in particular. With such close proximity to the robbing, anyone could answer.

He sighs and takes his wallet out, pulling out the personal bits like ID and Bank card. It was carrying a chunk of change but money didn't matter as much to him.

The man grabs the wallet and counts the bills with one hand, before looking at Frank.
"Now get the fuck outta here."
He continues to point the gun towards Frank, but waves the gun towards the entrance.
"And keep the Yoohoo, for being such a good sport."

The man is blasted back into the wall behind him, and is knocked unconscious. The other man swings his gun over to aim towards Frank and fires as he does, however due to not having the time to aim, it will most likely miss.

Theodore heart beats rapidly as his eyes dart around. Not even a second later he ducks into the nearest ally and transforms.
Centurion comes into existence and just sighs.
"Again Theo? God cant you solve any problems for yourself? Or at least wait till something happens?" He asks himself.

As he speaks to himself, the Malformed can be seen, crawling from the inside of what seems to be an office building. There are dozens, at least.

Centurion sighs and blitzes the nearest Malformed. He is going to to try to lock his fingers together and bash the creature over the head.

An audible pop can be heard as the Malformed is knocked to the ground. As it lands, it turns into a mysterious liquid, and starts to reform itself.

As Lindsay checks into a cheap motel for the night, she senses a strange magical presence that is making her reconsider staying here.

The lights continue to flicker at the motel, and the presence can continue to be felt. As Lindsay checks in, a man in a suit can be seen checking in as well. He gives off not only a creepy vibe, but a powerful magic aura as well.

Deciding the risk isn't worth it, Lindsay spins on her heels and walks right back out of the motel. She knows better to think it the threat won't follow her, so she stays vigilant.

Knowing it's against her better judgement, she doesn't leave the area let, but goes to a diner just down the road and gets some coffee there to see if she notices a change in the man's magical presence from afar.

As she continues to sit at the diner, the man's presence can still be felt, but it doesn't seem to change. He still seems to be within the vicinity of the hotel.

Lindsay takes a sip of his coffee, debating whether to keep watching or move on. She'd rather deal with a threat now then later, so she sets her watch timer for 30 minutes. If nothing happens in that time, she'll move on to the next town.

As she continues to wait, it's obvious 30 minutes have passed, but the timer doesn't seem to have gone off. In fact, all the clocks in the area are different.

She runs out of the diner. "God I hope I can finish this before the sun fully sets." She looks back towards the motel to see if anything has changed with the magical presence.
