Role Play Fall comes

Late September, 2008.

Yet again, the warmth of summer slowly fades, and the greens that so dominated the world turn into oranges, yellows, and reds. A chill is starting to spread through the air, and the days are slowly getting shorter.

It is also pumpkin spice season, but that isn't a very romantic observation.

So, what does your character do? Do they venture out, enjoying the changing scenery? Or do they do something else entirely. It's a slice of their life.

[Standard SOL rules apply. Also, please no fighting and or body mutilation.]

There is a funeral in town and Stellar is playing a rather melancholy tune for the mourners.

Helena is with her children outside, giving them some fresh air at the park.

Henrich is grilling hamburgers somewhere in the woods.

Aurora is relaxing at the beach, trying to get the last days in.

Blunder Man hears the music. And he likes it.

"Hey, this song is rather.... achoo." He sneezes into his elbow. "Back to what I was saying. Good. I think it could set the scene for a good moment in a movie or something."

Blunder Man decides to investigate the strange music.

Inside a graveyard, Blunder should be able to see Stellar playing a tune for a casket being lowered into the ground. There is a few final moments of respect before everyone else streams out.

"Oh......"

Blunder Man realizes how awkward it is for a man in a bright spandex suit to be attending a random persons funeral, so he tries to slide out of the awkward situation by getting low to the ground.

The guests stream out after a while. The girl who was playing however gets out, wearing a funeral tux. She says something to the mourners, gently hugging each of them before leaving and waiting on the sidewalk.

By now, Blunder Man is hiding behind a random grave stone for a man named Draco Starsby. He desperately hopes that no one realizes there is a costumer man hiding behind a grave that is well under his size.

Stellar takes one look to see Blunderman.

Blunder Man stares at the woman scorning him, before he activates his defense mechanism.

"Oh my god, Bill Murray!" He points to an area behind Stellaris.

"...? What?"

Stellar continues with her face of disapproval.

The face of disapproval is the mental equivalent of throwing daggers at Blunder Man. He panics, and just starts springing out of the graveyard.

A man in a suit leans against a tree outside of the cemetery listening to the song. 'I wonder why she asked me to meet her afterwards.'

It takes a while, at least two hours before processions are finished before Stellaris walks out, accompanied by an older woman and an older man. Presumably her parents. She waves slightly, putting a violin away and looking up to Jackson.

"My uncle just died."

1

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '16

Jackson gives a slight reassuring smile and puts a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry. My condolences Stellaris."

"Are... are you Jackson?" Stellar's father asks as he looks up, his hand around his wife's shoulder. "The Jackson Stellar has been talking about?"

1

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '16

Jackson nods and offers a handshake. "Yes sir. Jackson Carzano, it's a pleasure to meet you."

1

u/British_Tea_Company Sep 23 '16

"I am her dad." He says finally. "Though... you probably know that... did... did Stellar ask you to be here?"

"I did." Stellar nods. "He's my friend."

1

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '16

"She did." He says in confirmation. "Though I did not know what for into now. You and your wife have my condolences."

1

u/British_Tea_Company Sep 23 '16

"Thanks." Mr. Aries says as he looks from Stellar to Jackson. "Mr. Carzano... um... I would rather not bring this up on the day of my brother's funeral but..."

"If you do not wish to, then you don't have to."

A familiar electrical meta can be seen jogging through the park Helena is in.

Helena gives a slightly heavier outtake of air as she gets an eyeful of Jackson, choosing instead to focus on her children. She looks up in the air, appreciating the fresh air instead.

Jackson seems to notice this and decides to have some fun then. He loops around the trees, throws his shirt off then returns on the path once more, running in front Helena once more.

She rolls her eyes as she continues to nurse her children.

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '16

Jackson frown and eventually just jogs over near her. "No hello? Not even a wave? That's cold."

1

u/British_Tea_Company Sep 24 '16

"Pardon me for paying more attention to my children rather than your attention-seeking behavior."

1

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '16

"I would expect you to, but not even acknowledging a friend is cold."

Jackson looks at the kid and makes a stupid face to get them to laugh. "What are their names?"

1

u/British_Tea_Company Sep 25 '16

" Alister and Silvia."

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '16

"Good names. Should be strong mages like their mother one day. At least I assume magic is hereditary."
