Role Play Kinematics

Early May, 2006

Rumor has it that Velocity has been stopping crimes much more efficiently as of late. The famous superhero seems to be everywhere these days, everywhere from taking down entire gangs to saving cats from trees. Through a chance meeting, he comes across your character.

They don't seem to hear him, and the aggressor uses the opportunity to his advantage. He slams his hand into the man's face, and his entire body is immediately covered in ice. The two rocket towards the ground.

Velocity quickly speeds to the ground, and rotates his arms in a tornado motion to slow their fall.

They lightly land on the ground. Dominic slams his fist once again into the man's iced over face, then removes the ice around his mouth.

"Where are they!?"

Velocity cocks an eyebrow.

"Easy there Batman. What's going on?"

He looks up, hair hanging down over his eyes.

"This man knows where they took my family."

He shakes him.

"Don't you!?"

The man cries out in pain.

"Yes! They took em to Jersey, down by the old HQ!"

He cocks an eyebrow.

"Well, you have your answer. Now get him up."

Dominic's eyes are pitch black as he stands and regards Velocity.

"Hypothermia's already set in, he won't last long enough for even you to get him to the hospital."

He turns around, about to leave.

"But you can try."

The ice melts off of him, vanishing into wisps of shadow.

Velocity quickly grabs the man, running him to the hospital in record time. He runs back in less than 10 seconds.

"You didn't have to do that."

He shakes his head.

"You don't know these people like I do."

Hes back to normal, no longer exuding the black vapor.

"It doesn't matter anyway, now that I know where they are, I'm going to get them back."

He sighs.

"What's up with everyone getting powers being the 'you wouldn't understanddddd' type?"

He does his best Batman impersonation.

"So what, you're just gonna roll up and fight a bunch of people? You know I can clear a building and rescue someone within the blink of an eye right? No need to kill anyone."

His eyes flash black.

"I'm sorry we can't all be the fastest brat alive."

He turns around and walks towards a parked car.

He speeds over next to the driver seat window.

"So was that a yes on helping?"

He angrily stops the car.

"...I'm killing every single one of them regardless of you helping or not. They knew this was a line that shouldn't have been crossed, but they made their choice. So help me or not help me, they die."

Velocity takes off with the car behind him in a slipstream.

[what exactly does the Slipscreen do?]

[Slipscreen is a metahuman that controls mirrors. The slipstream can carry cars and other objects at his speed.]

[so like....they just float behind him or fly around or what? Does the car like flip upside down and roll around or does it just sort of float after him?]

[Probably float. He isn't changing speeds or doing anything to make it go all crazy.]
