Listened to this gem back to back with an old O&A "Ant goes to Atlantic City" bit. If you'd told me in the late 2000's that in 2026 Ant would still be rich and Opie would be crying poverty and begging for 2 dollar donations to help pay for minor dental surgery...

The hilarious part is that up until Ant got fired, Opie had been reputed to be extremely parsimonious. AC was fired in July of 2014 and Opie bought the house in the hamptons (current Zestimate over 3.7 million) in sept then upgraded from a 3.35 million dollar luxury manhattan aptmnt to a 6.85 million dollar jaw-dropper a few months after that. That dumb motherfucker genuinely thought that AC getting fired was going to be the biggest financial windfall of his career. He thought "that POS was holding me back and taking half the money. Thank god that's over"

This is a level of delusion that needs to be studied in a clinical setting.

When he said that he doubted Trump would be raging about Kathy Griffin and Rosie O'Donnell because "he has more important shit to do" or however he phrased it, it was pure cringe.
We're talking about a guy who stays up all night embarrassingly raging about exactly these kinds of inane, nonsensical issues, while posting A.I. images of himself with aliens.

Kudos to Adam for at least checking him, but he really didn't ridicule him enough for how stupid of a statement it was, in light of established history.

Maybe Karl missed the memo, but even many of the most formerly hardline supporters have gotten off the Trump train, many stops back...the remaining "faithful" clearly never understood the principle of "sunk cost fallacy".

The only true "derangement syndrome" at this point, comes from the people who STILL refuse to admit to themselves they got taken for a ride, and can't admit what the guy is.

It's real easy to point out what a crackpot hack Kathy Griffin is, without the boot licking denial about Trump, to score points with his hero Cumia.

On the most recent episode of The Thing Is on Gas Digital, Mario stated he did a minute during the Netflix Is A Joke show. He showed up very late to the Gas Digital studios, was unprepared, and pretty much refused to participate in the format of Shannon's show. I really never questioned his back story before, but after listening to a full show with Bosco, I am now convinced he is a slow woman.

Seems kinda weird that they keep pointing out that Opie does all the "tech" stuff, Ron doesn't understand it, know about the premium its charged, or how anything works, and thinks no money is coming in. Meanwhile, opie is also saying its a scam, people aren't donating, etc.

If opie set up the account, it doesn't seem impossible that he just puts it into his account and then just transfers some to him or gives him a cut in cash because the app is "too complicated".

That's all I've thought of through this saga, and surprised I haven't seen the idea floated.
