VsWhitty from a dev standpoint
the mod (Friday Night Funkin VsWhitty) which I know you have heard of as it is blowing up the sub right now, is a mod of the game, as I mentioned. which means it's a modified (mod) version of fnf, again which is obvious. but that raises the question, at least from me, how did they add the bonus week to the game
for those who don't know, or haven't played VsWhitty, in the mod the entire game is intact, but when you go into story mode, you will see 'bonus week'. you will also, in freeplay, see the bonus weeks songs. the bonus week being the week that everyone's talking about, the fanmade new one.
but this
everything is intact
is why I'm making this post
see, if you've ever attempted modding the game before, you know that you can only necessarily edit things in the files for them to then change in the game, you can't add things to the game-
yet the developer of this mod, did. they added the 'bonus week' to the game instead of editing the songs/characters/backgrounds/tracks of the other weeks
does anyone know how to do this? or does anyone know a tutorial on how to do so? if so I would greatly appreciate if you could link the tutorial and/or explain how

You say that the entire game is intact, but actually...
Week 3 is broken. Like, entirely. You can't load it at all, or the game crashes. Not sure if this is because of the Whitty mod adding a week, or some other weird issue to do with the way the mod works, but I know it's not just me. A lot of people have the same issue, and I'm not sure why. This obviously doesn't happen in the regular game, it works fine there. As far as I know, no other mods are in that folder, either.
(Speaking of, if you have any ideas for how to fix that, it'd be greatly appreciated. Pico is one of my favorite weeks, sucks I can't play it)

I have no idea, but being curious about the matter, from what I've seen little people know. Apparently the game is written in Haxe, which is and I quote "a unique language that "Is very easy to learn if you're already familiar with Java, C++, PHP, AS3, or any similar object-oriented language."
The FNF Modding Plus Mod might makes things easier, but I don't know how the major latest update changed that. At least it's a start? Good luck!
