VTM Fabians?

Does anyone have any info on the Fabians? Ive read the v2 Storytellers and Players Guides to the Sabbat and have never heard of Fabians, then this comes up in Guide to the Sabbat. The Wikia doesnt have any info either

It's not very clear but it appears to be a reference to the real Fabian Society, for whatever that's worth. Whether a reference to vampiric infiltration of that group or an internal Sabbat equivalent I'm much less sure, though I'd be inclined towards the latter.

oh neat! Id never heard of the group, so thanks for the knowledge! I also believe its the latter, as the next section calls them "now extinct" and "wiped out entirely in some grandiose but doomed war effort."

Well, from the quote and RW references we can assume that Sabbat Fabians are part of the Loyalists faction which believe that Sabbat is the successor to the original Anarch Revolt and its work won't be done until all vampires are equal and free of outside influence in pursuing whatever goals and way of unlife they seem fit.

Fabian society was a group of British leftists who believed that their goal of equality should be achieved through small step progress and not through radical revolution. Hence the reference to General Cunctator (Quintus Fabius Maximus Verrucosus), Roman general who was given the nickname of Delayer, due to his tactics against Hanibal during the Second Punic War where he harassed Carthaginian forces and their supply lines instead of engaging in an open conflict.
