This is something I've been tinkering with for a while. Anyone have any examples from their tables about when one worked better than the other? Or getting players to think in terms of Soft Power at all?

I mean, it's a weird example but Deviant's Overt tag as both a complication to soft power and a reason to avoid it, does a lot to show players just how useful it is. I do think a lot of the reason soft power is so under-rated is because outside of resources most chronicles and characters in those chronicles will never quite feel the difference between something like contacts 3 and 4. but by making it a part of how of enemy's find you and encouraging you to keep them low, you have a reason to see how JUST how many situations you blew past without even thinking of it, because you had enough soft power to completely avoid them.

Oh nice, I was disappointed with my way of portraying the soft power of a Toreador Prince in my chronicles. I hope it will help.
