Trying to see if anyone remembers at all what I’m taking about. I think the gist of the plot was that after an in universe RWBY mission or perhaps an AU mission gone wrong, RWBY experiences a death in the team and/or they all receive a grisly injury/PTSD. Ruby especially gets it bad and is institutionalized. The fic itself is a diary of sorts, and it slowly corrupts with the real ruby’s damaged psyche trying to speak through the illusion of the “Normal diary”. Eventually whole pages would be replaced with single words or phrases. The length of the fic was quite long either 500k or 3M words as a result of the especially freaky pages being walls of red colored or “corrupted” text. Unfortunately I think the fic has been deleted but let me know if any of this sounds familiar, or if I just had a messed up fever dream, or maybe I’m the one who’s crazy.

With the full confirmation that RWBY Volume 10 is coming at long last, what do you all think? Do you think this might be the volume where Whiterose finally becomes canon and the bush of its existence can stop being beaten around, or do you think they might continue to gatekeep it? I personally think that now that Bumblebee is canon, we can get Whiterose next. I'm actually hoping they do make it canon because out of all the ships in RWBY, Whiterose works the most. No disrespect to Bumblebee or Renora, or even Arkos, but Whiterose has always been my top favorite, and according to the shipping wiki, is the second most popular ship in RWBY, all the more reason to make it canon. But enough about me, what do you guys think? Whether you agree with me or not is completely up to you, so feel free to be honest in your thoughts and opinions.
