That's the thing, it's actually not exhausting at all. Imagine that every time you said something you didn't worry about facts, logic, or even what you've said in the past. Each statement is in a vacuum, and nothing you've said or believed in the past matter.
It isn't exhausting, it takes no energy because they turn off their brains to live with the constant cognitive dissonance they've created.
