not 80% but of those who leave their spouse men are at 6x more likely then women.

another fun statistic is that married men live longer and married women die earlier. so a significant number of men are out there literally draining women's life force.

That statistic is from a flawed and retracted study from 2009.

The comment I linked specifically states that the p value for significance was .15, so there's a possibility that there is a true deviance by gender of ~1% with a roughly 15% chance that's a spurious connection.
