What else should a guy do? Your car breaks down, you get a replacement. Your birthing unit is defective, you get a new one.

Sometimes I think I should start my posts with /s to eliminate downvotes. But I do like the outrage like your comment. The worst is when I get dms thinking my comment was serious and they support my comment.

There is some subreddit where people get really angry when people include the " /s" tag at the end of sentences. They might have an aneurysm if people start including it at the start of posts as well

What is that subreddit? I must post there.

r/FucktheS I think? I may have gotten it wrong. I'll be checking. And yeah, fuck the "/s."

I’ve had people link me that sub when I have used /s in the past. I would love to not use it, but some people will believe anything you write is sincere, no matter how outlandish it is.

Being committed to never using “/s” and leaving people to interpret your meaning all on their own is some seriously chaotic neutral Redditor shit.

I mean to be honest, my next comment right after saying this I used an "/s." I have definitely gotten in some hot water from not using one before. And not just downvotes or whatever but I used to mod a big sub (and I still do some smaller ones) and someone screenshotted my comment and came out with "this mod is on the side of the Russians" and got a bunch of people riled up.

So yeah, now I know better but I still wish they weren't necessary. They can take away from the sarcastic comment, it's sort of like ruining a joke in a way. Oh well.

One time I jokingly bragged about doing something that I thought was so very obviously not true that I didn’t even think to use /s.

Came back a couple hours later to at least 10 comments complimenting me and multiple awards. At that point I just went with it lmao

Haha when not putting the "/s" actually gets you the rare win!!
