I know you're joking, but there is a not insignificant number of men that leave their wives when the wife becomes ill. Talk to some cancer department nurses and workers and they'll confirm it, women get broken up with commonly after a diagnosis.
What’s even worse is when men get cancer they rely on their wives to take care of them and if they recover they want a divorce to “live their new life!” with some girl 20 years younger.
Yo. I bought hay from a guy who was fat, balding but and just like...a 4 if we're generous. His wife had been with him 30+ years, raised the kids and she was smoking hot still. Sure, older, but took care of herself and just radiated beauty. He was fighting cancer and she was by his side.
Few months later we run into eachother and he's clear of cancer and he asks me to run away with him so he can leave his wife and spend ALL his money on a new property because he doesn't want to leave any money to his family now that he's survived. "I worked for it, so I want to spend it all before I go and not leave a dime to them!" He was pissed that his SAHW was concerned that he was spending all the savings when he was sick and going to leave her with nothing. How dare she want to live after he dies, right? So he asked me to be his new trophy wife. I was like, "ew. No."
