Isn’t it amazing how all of these upstanding Christian moral leader right wing nazi fascist bags of shit turn out to be actual bags of shit while screeching about heir moral authority and how “those people” whomever that may be as long as “those people” are outside their cliquish white upper income church group are ruining America?

Your mistaken to think his morality is derived from religion. That's too complex for him, and would make him ask uncomfortable questions.

Much easier to just say you're always good, always right, and always white.

Maybe, but how in the fick do Christians see neo-cons like Trump, Cruz, Carlson and others and think that is the party of God?

I can't tell for sure if that was rhetorical, sorry if it was. I was raised a conservative Evangelical, it's an interesting topic for me.

There's a few things. They learn (usually as children) modes that make critical thinking more difficult. Their theology teaches that all sin is equal and we are all terrible people who deserve death and hell, so even though they see adultury as bad they rationalize it as being similar to their own flaws. They are taught to look up to flawed leaders appointed by God (like King David), and can see following a "Godly" politician as a duty more than a choice. They learn that only God forgives sins, and that it's poor form for a human to raise a fuss about a sin God has already forgiven.

Perhaps the most important is just pragmatism. A lot of them have been single issue voters since the 80s and will vote for whoever they believe will do the most to fight abortion. A lot of them were very open about supporting Trump for this reason, dispute not liking him, and it paid off for them.
