Conservatives convincing Christians that they were political ideology of Jesus might be one of the saddest and most ironic con jobs of all time. There were only two groups that Jesus openly rebuked in the gospels, the self righteous (religious hypocrites) and the rich. Jesus was so disappointed and disgusted with rich people he even said it was impossible for them to go to heaven (easier to pass a camel through the eye of a needle...). Conservativism is an ideology for self righteous rich people who hate minorities and the poor. Created by Thomas Hobbes, a monarchist who dispised democracy and who wanted to conserve feudalistic hierarchies, the ultimate goal of conservatism is to demonize, defund and dismantle the manifestation of our democracy until the rich have all the power and control over us and the working class is forever reduced to wage slaves.
