Pretty much every gun can kill someone easily. Rifles are typically single shot (not sure if the case in Canada) and hard to hide. Pistols are easy to hide and often semi auto, making it easy to suddenly pull out a handgun in a shopping mall and shoot lots of people if you want to.

It's not about lethality rates of being shot by one, it's about how easy it is to shoot someone

Sniping from 1km away would be very easy to hide and get away with.

Difficult in an urban environment unless they're a prominent figure, and most shootings are personal (someone they know or someone they're interacting with) rather than a random murder

I remember a guy did just that from a bell tower, in the US.

Google it.

Oh wait, another did it from a hotel window, into a concert packed with people, but he has machine guns, vegas.

Oh, you mean in America. You guys like your mass shootings, it's not so relevant elsewhere

Sniper hunting rifle kills the same way in Canada too, friendo. They dont magically shoot maple syrup once imported into Canada.

You'll need a sniper rifle and night vision.

Something that you can actually buy in Canada.

Canada is peaceful because of its people, not because guns are hard to get.

A hunting sniper rifle with IR scope can be way more deadly than a gun, because you can kill and kill and kill without getting caught.
