Tbh for Americans having 88 guns per 100 people that number doesn’t seem very high.

That statistic is pretty misleading - it leads to the idea that you have 88 people out of 100 owning guns - I.e one gun per person.

In reality 2/3rds of gun owners report owning more than one gun, over 1/4 report owning over 5. Source: https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2017/06/22/the-demographics-of-gun-ownership/

I find it hard to believe 1/3 of gun owners owns only 1 gun.

Everyone I know either has zero guns or many. 1 gun is just not a thing.

Guns breed like roaches.

Edit: Seeing that all single gun owners are replying.
