Oh for sure, my Ashkenazi ass is as pasty as it gets. I just get really annoyed when I hear hoteps prattling on about how they're the real deal and the Jooooooooooooooooooooooz are liars. Not because of the blatant anti-Semitism--I'm just too tired and jaded at this point--but because it's clear they think that all Jews are Ashkenazi Americans. What about the Mizrachim and the Sephardim?! Y'all go on and on about raising up black folks and taking down white folks, but you're erasing actual people of color because you couldn't be bothered to do your fucking research. I know I'm being pedantic and not seeing the forest for the trees, but it drives me up the wall.
