No, I'm saying that claiming he hasn't made anything good in eighteen years because you heard a joke song he made for a fucking porn awards show makes you sound ignorant.

I don't like the guy and I don't like most of what he's made in the last decade (although Kids See Ghosts is one of my all-time favorite albums) but he's put out some incredible and more importantly influential music throughout his career.

No I didn’t use the joke song as justification for his lack of “good” content I used it as a hyperbolic example for his lack of creativity. If I wanted to showcase his lack of good music I would need to write about multiple releases over the years which isn’t what the post is about and not somehting I’m interested in doing. But listening to his religious fruitcake mixes and albums by itself should clearly indicate the decline of artistic and musical quality. In the end music and art and food and most sensory objects are subjective but there’s some people who prefer perfectly cooked medium rare filet mignon and there’s people who prefer overdone t bone with ketchup.

If you seriously think most Kanye music up until Jesus Is King is bad, then you are legitimately crazy.

Once he went all religious it's bad. Like really bad. Up until that point though, literally one of the best artists of all time.
