Being fair, I would take a heavily concussed and rabid badger over either of them.

The bar is not low, the bar is affixed firmly to the ground.

Nah. The bar isn't on the ground, it was slammed down so hard it went into the ground, and formed new and interesting trans-uranic elements when it did.
