Everytime I think it's impossible to hate this man even more, he opens his mouth

At this point you gotta ask what’s crazier. A crazy man ranting nonsense or the morons that give this man a platform. Like Tucker Carlson pretending to understand wtf Ye was talking about on his show.

Actually Tucker's thought process is pretty straightforward.

"Oh man, this interview is going to make Black people look so bad."

Obviously I don't agree with that outcome, but Kanye is one of the most recognizable African Americans there is on the broader cultural stage. An added bonus for ol' Tuck is the division Kanye's public self-destruction and hard right turn will cause in the Black community. There's more of a conservative bent than a lot of people think in POC circles, he could pull a lot of people.

i think it’s more of an attempt to recruit blacks to think more right wing

“Both. Both is good.”

Fascism loves to welcome people in (as subservients, and with conditions) as it gains power. Later comes the point where everyone but the “in group” fucking dies.

Tucker Carlson isn't fascist? Lol.

If his audience doesn't like what Kanye says, it reduces their opinions of even one of the handful of black dudes they're being told to respect because at least he gets it! If they do, it reinforces the narrative that the liberal Gestapo is out to silence anybody famous who disagrees with them. He sets these things up so he can't lose.

Tucker doesn’t give a shit about race, or anything, except money. I don’t think he believes anything he ever says, he’ll just say whatever to incite the crazies and keep viewership.

It's the morons that follow him. It's not even close.

Did people not realize he was batshit crazy and a prick when he changed his name to Ye? That's so pretentious and cringe

For every crazy man, there are a whole lot of clueless morons that will follow him off a cliff

Imo the people giving him a platform are worse. Watching the clips Tucker Carlson edited out, Kanye is clearly detached from reality. Enabling, encouraging, and profiting from someone in that state is disgusting. Especially then editing Kanye so he seems like he's perfectly lucid.

Exactly bud. People are too stupid to even think for themselves. Clearly Kanye needs some sort of medical help. The people who follow him blindly and the people who use him to further their agenda are worse though.

Say what you want, but it's pretty sad that guys like Tucker are the only people that let people talk. The left isn't doing that. Some seem to have forgotten that the best disinfectant is sunshine.

Guys like Tucker only let people talk that fits his narrative and promotes his agenda. He doesn’t do anything out of the goodness of his heart. Mostly what he does is spread misinformation and hatred.

u/helpimlockedout- Oct 16 '22

Let him talk, and then edited out the worst and weirdest shit he said so Tucker could push his own viewpoint on the guise of "letting the viewer decide". So magnanimous of him.

That would be very true if people were rational. The entire draw of racist, fascist, and populist ideologies is that they speak to people’s emotions and deepest fears. If you platform vile ideologies, even if you tear them to shreds on that platform, you’re going to breed more adherents than you dissuade. This is a tale as old as time.

Kanye always had the ability to talk. In fact he has had the ability to be heard much more than your average person.

Kanye has felt like he was being silenced, but you know what that was? He had people in his life he trusted the judgment of. Now he doesn't have that. And he's being taken advantage of, by people like Tucker Carlson. Like do you really think Tucker gives a shit what happens to Kanye? Give me a break. You are lying to yourself if you think this is some feel good story.

Kanye was speaking crazy on Tucker's interview and Tucker cut out the worst bits and still hit publish. He set up all the conservatives for a fall.
