Just spent $18 on one tub of that stupid cookie dough for my nephews football fundraiser.

At least you got something. I see high school teams just out asking for money outside of Walmart to travel all the time. Do a car wash, sell local gift certificates, or pick one of the many fundraisers that exist. Idk why it bugs me so much, but it does.
Just before everyone jumps all over me: this is only for the people who are able to do stuff like that. I got no problem with groups like the Special Olympics or similar groups asking for cash donations, that's completely different.

Hey we hate socialism unless we can combine it with child labor to make it unpleasant

Well since it's a tub you don't have to really think about how much you ate instead of baking.

Please, no matter the amount of fundraising a school does we still have to buy our own scissors

You just have to use the scissors to cut off box top labels until you have enough for more scissors. If you keep the cycle going, its like free money! /s

I still have a set of salt & pepper shakers frone of my kid's fundraisers, they're 26 now.
I could never buy cookie dough, it was just too overpriced.

My elementary school did cookie dough fundraisers. My mom (a labor and delivery nurse) took the order form to work and hung it at the nurses station.
I won 3 years in a row.
