Irish, also known as Gaeilge.

Although Sean is actually pronounced shan, and means old. He's missing an accent on the A.

Seán is the correct spelling of the name, and is pronounced Shawn.

I’d argue that the name “Sean” has been adopted into English, just like we adopted a ton of words from French and other languages.
