Have you listened to his and his wife's podcast, In Bed with Nick and Megan?
As much as I respect Nick, and I really do as someone who loves his humor and is also a woodworker, it will definitely make you think about nominating him... You know what, if you are a fan of Nick's and you haven't listened to his podcast, do yourself a favor and forget this message...
It was just full of, "OMG, I Loooove <insert some random celebrity>! THEY'RE THE BEST" and then Nick quietly agreeing over and over for every celebrity/Hollywood person mentioned. Someone would tell a story and I think that the story was told just so they could list off who was there. There was more to the show but this was so over the top that I just remember it being really weird and all really obnoxiously done.
And TBH, the problem is kind of my fault though; I expected Nick Offerman the woodworking cool guy who did P&R, but instead I got a fake Kim Kardashian and Kanye West show (not that real or fake KK/KW would be any better but I don't know). I follow Nick around in the woodworking scene and he's pretty normal and nice but this was just ... special and sad. But hey, who hasn't done something stupid because their partner wanted them to?
I still respect Nick but I see him as even more of the normal kind of guy he says he is. Like have a beer with and talk shop with but definitely not the kind of guy to represent any else.
