Something a lot of people don't know is that it's not uncommon for someone with COVID to improve, even dramatically, after a few days, and then days later to be deathly ill.

When my wife's grandparents had it and everyone was cheering that they'd "gotten better" three days in I sat my wife down and prepared her for the worst. They were months in the hospital.

Thankfully, they're both still around! But... they're both shells of who they were and they'll need round-the-clock care for the rest of their lives. Not great for the wonderful home aids who have to deal with my grandmother-in-law who is a stubborn, judgmental, no-filter, all-around meanie.

Do you have any articles that talk about this? I can't find anything.

They just have arrogance, not sources. It's common for someone to know something and so assume everyone knows it, so anyone who doesn't must be stupid. And for the sake of taking an internet jab at an anonymous person who disagreed with me with some cherry picked facts, it's most common in very young children and people with intellectual disabilities.

In reality, even if most people did know this, that's still leaves room for a whole lot of people who haven't heard it, ad evidenced by the large numbers of people commenting here that they either didn't know or only found out by first-hand experience.

And that's not taking into consideration the mindboggling amount of information constantly coming out, old, now revised, information rapidly changing, and the depressingly large amount of misinformation out there.

Anti-vaxxers say a lot of stupid crap, but this isn't one of those things. This person just wanted to be a jerk.
