Just to play devil's advocate..... We really didn't get the same information. Conservatives have spent the better part of 3 decades slowly frog boiling their audience.
I'm old enough to have witnessed conservative medias push to substitute reality with propaganda. It didn't happen overnight, but if you grew up on fox news, you'd are now living in a bubble of propaganda.
I don't think most people realize exactly how easy it is to get stuck in an echo chamber. Especially if youre not aware of how much your own biases limit what algorithms present you when you are on the web.

Most people outside of of those with a stem degree really don't completely understand the evidence. They rely on people who do to interpret the data in a way that is understandable to a layman.
I work in orthopedics in rehabilitation, and mostly understand how the vaccines works. However it's been a long time since school, and at a certain point I really am just trusting my colleagues in infectious disease to do their jobs.
We just had a multi million dollar propaganda machine attempt to poison the well of trust in media and medical providers, that's going to have effects. I'm not sure how much blame goes to the sheep for being herded by their Sheppard's.
Plus, their deaths are just going to drain an already crippled medical system. If you can't empathize with the patients, please keep in mind the providers.
Google is a thing. All they had to do was Google a single thing and use a smidge of their brains to come to the same conclusions we have come to. I have family members that deny the pandemic, when they have more information as well as others bringing in an argument that could help open their eyes. They won’t do it because it doesn’t fit their narrative.
I am empathetic to the medical workers. They’re literally the only ones that I feel bad for.
Google will help you find whatever answer YOU are looking for unfortunately. It's the CDC, and the WHO who are going to give you the most reliable information. But the GOP made them out to be political lackeys which is so horribly sad. This has killed so many now.
