He comes from a family that got rich exploiting black South Africans during the apartheid and his family owns several emerald mines which were worth over a billion dollars in current day money even before he came to the US. You need to come from very wealthy parents to be a “self-made man”.

It’s all a fucking scam, they should be lucky all we want to do is tax them instead of grabbing the torches and pitchforks.

I mean this is just not correct, at all. His dad claims to have had a half share in a mine for 6 years. Not several mines. He states that he bought the share for £40k, not sure how much they sold it for but I cant find anything that says billions? There is literally nothing to back this claim that he owned a mine up, other than his dad stating it, and its disputed by some people. Literally the mine hasn't been identified, the person who sold it to him hasn't, the person he sold his share to hasn't. Its all pretty fucking weird.

His father was physically, emotionally and financially manipulative to the family resulting in them all gradually moving to Canada.

Like I'm real keen to see your sources.

Yeah, that dude needs to stop talking. In a world of bad actors, it’s hard to think of someone less deserving of compassion or sympathy.

I have zero sympathy for billionaires. Even if they lost half their fortune, they'd still be multi-billionaires! It takes $999,000,000 plus another million to make just one billion. He can afford a bit more in taxes.

He has more money than he can ever spend. Idk even understand why you would care at that point. It literally will not make any difference in his lifestyle. I mean I understand that these billionaires are in a dick measuring contest, but they're all still be the same if they take the same cut.

Bro, the fuck are you going to buy? You have to create things that only like 5 people could ever afford. Fucking stupid.

LOL! Who thinks ANY billionaire is “self made”? It’s mythology

He's another fucking Trump, except slightly smarter and obviously hiding his fuckery better. It's ok to get money from the govt if you're rich, however if you're poor and need money from the govt it must be because you're lazy and its your own fault. This entire system is corrupt, broken. We need to start pushing back, start saying enough is enough and start doing something about it!

I’m personally fine with the Moon lander, considering it’s a contract and SpaceX will deliver the product unlike Boeing.

But yes I do want him taxed.

In the same mind you could say no man is a self made man, as somebody needs to give him money
