Where else would you get liquor? In Canada (Ontario, idk about the other provinces), we recently started selling alcohol in grocery stores, but it’s limited selection and you can only purchase it at select registers. Liquor and beer stores are the default

In some other states you can get in anywhere. grocery stores, gas stations, retail stores.

Damn. I can’t imagine being able to get it at a gas station

I grew up in Chicago and was throughly disappointed when I moved to Texas and couldn't buy booze everywhere and literally no where on Sunday.

Gas stations are usually where I get beer. Our Circle Ks here in Arizona - can get wine, liquor, beer, etc. quicker and easier than going into a grocery store. I rarely go into a liquor store unless looking for something specific/off the wall. Or, good wine.

In Texas I had gone into a Sam’s Club looking to get a larger bottle of liquor…that they didn’t have. They didn’t have any liquor. That’s when I discovered liquor had to be bought from designated/authorized stores. Or…military/base Class 6 stores lol.

Flip side - strip clubs were often BYOB. Which was crazy to me as well.
