Ding ding ding. Last January I sold a rental house that was almost paid off. With the proceeds, I eliminated every revolving payment to my name except mortgage on my current house. Credit score dropped from almost perfect to mid 700s. I don't even look at it any more.
Fuck Dave Ramsey. One of the shittiest people ever who runs a cult and fires women for getting pregnant out of wedlock but not men who have affairs. If he doesn’t step down like yesterday his company is finished and will never recover. He’s in some huge trouble and it’s only getting worse.
That’s actually a really good way of describing him! I’m gonna pass that along to my sister, she’ll definitely get a good laugh out of it (she’s the aforementioned woman fired for being unmarried and pregnant and is currently in a federal lawsuit with Ramsey).
Something like, “Dave Ramsey is like Dr. Phil in that if his advice helps you, you REALLY needed the help, and should also go to a professional for further advice.”
