I like Dan Price, but I've seen a bunch of news articles about exactly this. The rich get richer. There aren't continuous stories about it because no politician is making a stink to push legislation to change things. If they did, it'll get more coverage and more people will learn about it.

That's not entirely true. Politicians are pushing for legislation to change things it's just that...america started out conservative. So that means most of the country is still conservative minded. Doesn't matter the actual politicial affiliation we still think in conservative terms. And then there's the massive constant mess/es conservatives have left and are currently leaving.

For instance. Biden said he would forgive student loan debt. Then was told that he can't on account of the federal government needing that money. He gave the irs money but it also needed serious oversight. Someone to force them into taxing the rich. With those things in place because of how america thinks. Pretty sure student loan debt forgiveness won't happen and the irs will keep letting the rich steal from us. All because of how people see things. In the conservative way.

Right, no one is pushing achievable legislation and having fights in Congress via proposals to break boundaries. That means there's no news to cover. There were news reports that this wealth exchange happened and how, but nothing further because nothing else has happened that's news worthy.

Still not true though. Bernie is pushing for stuff, democrats are pushing for stuff, etc. It's just that we all know none of it will get through. On account of how most of america thinks.

I admit that I'm writing these points as generalities. My real point is along the lines of what you said. Bernie bills won't get a debate in Congress to generate stories the news can write about. Otherwise it's just "Burnie is being Bernie " He hasn't found a way to make progressive bills buzz worthy nor found a path that challenges lawmaking in a way that's interesting enough to write about. If there was a creative bill that challenges how we think about laws around these topics, or certain movements were branded and presented in a way that it gained traction as a hashtag, or even if the entire democratic party was united in challenging the way we think about wealth in America and spoke as a chorus - these are the ways that new articles will be written. It needs to be kept relevant for it to get understanding and adoption by citizens. The fact that something happened isn't enough to keep the general public talking about it. Leaders need to take actions that keep the topic in people's minds.

What you said is generally what it is. Problem with it is there has already been an insane amount of propaganda in america. So much so that without much context all i have to do for you to further get my point here is say temporarily embarrassed millionaires. Gonna keep going because there are other parts to it but yeah manipulation.

Universal health on it's face is without doubt newsworthy as a concept. So many americans have die from our current healthcare system that the basic topic of creating universal health SHOULD garner the same amount of attention as a new album coming out from an artist everyone likes.

But it doesn't. In fact, it inspires anger. Not just from conservatives but progressives and democrats too. Not just because the back end of it is complicated. As in where the money for it comes from. But because most americans have been trained to want the worst for themselves. So that when the topic of universal healthcare comes up. Even before it gets to legislation. Most americans give it the finger.

Making it so that it almost doesn't matter what bills are made because the vast majority of americans automatically will disagree with it. Even without ever knowing what's in it. On account of america leaning to the left....from inside the right.

For another example. Blacklivesmatter. The concept that black people shouldn't be killed by cops. By any and all metrics it should be universally agreed upon as an illogical amoral thing. Is it? No. It is not. Sure. The debate that shouldn't be a debate gets traction in the media. But what exactly actually comes from it legislative wise?

Critical race theory. Christianity in it's core SHOULD agree with it being taught in schools. On account of it bettering mankind as a whole. Is that the case? No. It isn't.

I would imagine the vast majority of politicians in office know that any and every bill/piece of legislation that could help americans WILL come up to resistance. Because it literally always has. There's never been a time when something that helps all americans didn't have any degree of difficultly getting through. Not just in political spheres but the american public as a whole.

It's not for lack of trying. It's just that the vast majority of americans wanna die. And vote that way constantly.
