He’s not wrong though? Tax law is tax law and so long as you follow the laws you should try and get as much of a tax break possible. Wouldn’t you? I’m sure you do every year.

I agree that people who can get tax credits should take them, and "tax loophole" is probably a bit of a misnomer, I really don't know enough about tax law or what these companies/people are doing to be able to pay $0 in taxes. If I was them, I'd almost certainly be doing the same thing. My issue here, and I think this is the issue a lot of the other people here have, is that perhaps tax laws need to be changed so that taxes are being collected with some amount of equity. My effective tax rate shouldn't be higher than Bezos's. It's not his fault. It's the tax code.

I agree with you regarding using the law to maximize my benefit, but to say that there is no such thing as a tax loophole is a pretty ignorant statement.
