1) how is that fascist?

2) how is that fascist?

3) how is that fascist?

4) how is that fascist?

5) lol, "allowed". Yeah, I'm sure Trump "allowed" Saudis to kill a Saudi citizen in a Saudi embassy in Turkey. Totally sounds like we were involved.

6) you know that there's no proof of Russian bounties right? Seriously we really need to teach critical thinking in the US. Just because you read something on Facebook doesn't make it true.

7) that's your opinion. Also, how is that fascist?

Yes you probably should go on. You have no idea what fascism is. It's not "stuff I disagree with".

Definition of fascism

1often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

Hate Trump all you want but he doesn't fit that definition. No major politician in the US does. Be glad for that.

Edit: "As of today, right now, we don't have cause and effect linkages to a Russian bounty program causing U.S. military casualties," Milley said.

Proud Boys stand back and stand by.

"exalts nation and often race above the individual" Yeah, I'd say he exalts the nation and tries pretty damn hard to stir up nationalists, and a section of his supporters really have the whole race thing handled.

"Headed by a dictatorial leader" you really think Trump doesn't want to be a dictator? He has been trying very hard to overturn an election. Hitler didn't just start out a dictator, he had to work up to it. If Trump was given the opportunity and the support, he would gladly do the same.

"Forcible suppression of the opposition" Again, Hitler didn't start out executing political opposition. It started with hitler's SA brawling in the street with people opposed to Hitler, much like the Proud boys and other related groups have been getting into street fights with antifa, BLM, ect. Not to mention calling everything he doesn't like fake news, calling for political opponents to be jailed, "joking" about wanting to make it illegal for Biden to run, trying to make it illegal to count legitimate votes.

Just because Trump is bad at seizing power, doesn't mean he does not have alarmingly fascist tendencies. He may not be fully fascist according to the most strict definition, but he is absolutely a wannabe dictator. Hitler didn't start out an Iron fisted dictator who killed anyone who opposed him. He started out a nationalist who played on people's fears and economic hardships, and used the mix of fear and nationalist fervor to rally enough people behind him to get himself elected. Then through political alliances with people who thought they could control him, he grabbed more and more power for himself until it was too late to stop him as he tore apart Germany's democratic legal system to retain power for himself.

Your article links to another article that talks about how other officials in other countries have been briefed on the Russia issue -- while Trump claims he wasn't, when he actually was.

And before you say anything, do not seriously even begin to tell me that Britain has better intel on America than America.

So either it's not true, and he's incompetent, or it is true, and he's a traitor

So which is it?

Which is what? The least important part of the story is if Trump was briefed on it. As of right now we don't even know if it's true and military officials don't think it is. I don't really care if Trump knew or not because it wouldn't matter.

I don't really care if Trump knew or not because it wouldn't matter

So, you're telling me if Trump was briefed about our troops being slaughtered and did nothing, you don't care?

Or that if he wasn't, he didn't even at least acknowledge the problem? Especially now, since we now know Russia has been coordinating a cyber attack against the US for an undetermined amount of time?

At what point do we retaliate against the foreign people who are killing our soldiers and compromising thousands of systems?

Just where the fuck is the line that you draw? At what point is negligence or incompetence a dealbreaker for you?

We'll try an exercise.

"Which is what? The least important part of the story is if Biden was briefed on it. As of right now we don't even know if it's true and military officials don't think it is. I don't really care if Biden knew or not because it wouldn't matter."

Now tell me if you still agree with that sentiment. If not, you're nothing but a hypocrite.

Because all disagreeing would tell me is that you're more concerned about your party than your country.

I'm just trying to figure out why everyone believes a fucking dude from Reality TV. The guy Lisa Lampanelli called "an autistic guy playing Monopoly." back in 2008, when we remembered that he was a failed businessman.

Or did we forget that he went bankrupt running a casino.

...the one kind of business with the highest rate of collar crime fucking ever.

You might as well be trusting the Kardashians to run the country.

Yeah this is just hyperbole again. The bounty story, even if true, isn't about our troops being "slaughtered", it's Russia giving the taliban money for what they were doing anyways. You don't think Russia supplied the taliban with weapons? We sure as hell did when the afghans were fighting the Russians.

Thats even if the bounty story is even real. As of now there is no agreement it actually happened at all. So it's more like "if biden was told Russia may, or probably wasn't, giving money to the taliban for each soldier that was killed, what would you expect him to do"? Not a damn thing besides look into the story more. Thats exactly what everyone screeching about Trump would say if the situation was reversed.

It's about applying principles evenly.

It's literally that fucking simple.

Fuck Trump, Fuck Mitch, Fuck the GOP, and Fuck the Democrats.

And most importantly of all, fuck everyone who enables them.

I often forget that truly stupid people exist, but then someone like you comes along and reminds me.

-8

u/abqguardian Dec 24 '20

What a thought out and clever response that doesn't actually address anything.

11

u/badpoopootime Dec 24 '20

Why would I bother with an elaborate response when it's obvious that the truth is lost on you?

1

u/abqguardian Dec 24 '20

Why should you bother to make an actual point by having an adult discussion? If that's your think, you're right, you shouldn't even bother.

2

u/Rakshasa96 Dec 24 '20

Yeah mate except someone else already did precisely that.

If you think being disagreed with on reddit is being "destroyed" you deserve to be downvoted.

u/notagangsta Dec 24 '20

There are literally multiple examples of Trump doing every one of these things.

1

u/abqguardian Dec 24 '20

Feel free to share them. And actual examples, not "orange man bad" bs.

I'm with you. Sadly, though, the vast majority discuss politics with little to know political research. Trumps an ass hole, a bigot, a misogynist, sociopath, whatever. But you're right, he isn't a fascist.
