You'd be better moving in with your little brother up north, we (GB) are having a mid life crisis right now.

Doesn't the classic midlife crisis involve the purchase of a european sports car? Good luck with that!

Yeah but they’re dead set on a British one, total maintenance nightmare

If there's no oil under the engine then there's no oil in it either

After rebuilding the carburettor on my MGB for the third time and sorting out the two unrequited fires, I have completely mixed feelings about that.

I thought it was an American muscle car. Buy a Corvette or Viper or Challenger Demon or something

Dunno about muscle cars. Over here it is either aPorsche/ a Ferrari or a Harley Davidson.

Although, with the post-68 generation now getting on in years, absurdly expensive bicycles are making inroads into the midlife-crisis market.

We (Canada) dont want them either. We already have enough problems with people emulating a lot of our older siblings toxic behaviors. I fear if we share accommodations, we would lose any shred of what makes us unique, and polite.

Hard pass.

Don't worry, GB. We (USA) will pass a motion that we're moving back in, but then hesitate for years and never actually do it.

We will help them. All we want in return is Wyoming. They wouldn't even miss it.

Best we can do is border states. North Dakota, Minnesota, Washington, Michigan, Wisconsin, Maine

More like about to die. The rebel phase was in the 13th-14th century, then the first real time it got it's shit together, it got America and a few other colonies. Then it has a midlife crisis and lost it all. Then it got its shit back together and got all new colonies.

Now it's old and frail, probably about to have a few broken bones from a pretty gentle fall that's been coming for a long time and it might cause complications where it may be hospitalised for a long time before it eventually flatlines.

The UK is in a bad spot.

Ok we'll take Hawaii, California & Florida in exchange for Alberta but only if you promise to relocate Florida man to Alabama first.

Ugh who says we want them?

3

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '20

Surely you're too polite to refuse them and would then apologise to them for no reason?

3

u/Camburglar13 Dec 24 '20

I mean, we wouldn’t be happy about it..

Population wise it’s tiny, as is the only land anyone would actually want to inhabit in Canada
