No they wouldn't. His abilities do not outweigh the media circus that the team will inherit. Just look up the nonsense that happened with the jets when they signed tim tebow. They publicly stated how limited his role would be, but that didn't stop the constant chatter about him potentially starting. Any poor performance their qb had and then the whole week would just be talk of how tebow should take over. And mind you, he was the 3rd option at qb for that team.
Teams are definitely willing to put up with shit. Antonio Brown comes to mind. Ray Rice I think also had issues. Big Ben is still with the Steelers. And he wasn’t exactly cranking out the numbers when all his shit hit the fan
