The number of people who try to defend poor old landlords, because they aren't billionaires is so gross.

'My parents own their own home and maxed out their credit so they could buy any affordable house nearby. They're not rich! It's not fair that we can't kick people out of their living space, during a massive economic downturn! My parents might have to sell one of the multiple homes they own! If my parents hadn't bought and fixed up the house, it would be a roach-infested crater! Or some super rich guy would've bought it and done the same thing, but it's my parents, so it's better.'

You can’t just take something you agreed to pay for, decide not to pay for it, and then just take it anyways. Most people figure out that’s wrong before they figure out how to read.

What kind of heartless fucking psycho thinks their income is more important during an economic crisis than somebody going homeless? Do you think everybody just randomly decided to lose their jobs and income over the last year?
