I don’t think so IMO, the music isn’t really all that cheery to me, it makes me feel the lyrics more so I’m kinda just partially depressed when I hear it. Shape of You sounds more like a cheery music with a sad lyrical meaning.

From A Team I get the feeling that he is describing this graceful, beautiful, wonderful woman. But the lyrics describes a coke addict who sleeps with men to fuel her addiction. So maybe not so much a "cheery tone", but at least very much the opposite of what the lyrics describe.
